Chapter 15 - The Guide - Revelations

Chapter 15 - The Guide - Revelations

Hey there. We've had some weird disturbances in the energy lately and some truths came to light that made the author pause and consider the direction of this story.

Just like always, real life comes into play and there is a lot going on in the author's life no one knows about. One of the secrets is that her old boss, the elderly woman who owns the newspaper, is really her grandmother. What a surprise that was. A revelation really.

So her boss' legacy is really her own legacy. It will be one day but not yet. There will be a whole power struggle that comes into play. The author's aunt and cousin will come up to help her fight.  She is still wondering where her uncle stands with the whole thing. Right now it is what it is and she isn't worrying too much about it yet.

The author has been leaving a Cent-trail that leads to both her church and the newspaper.  She discovered her old boss who owned the newspaper owned the church too. Wow, that was a real shock. She didn't see that one coming. Funny how things work out sometimes.  Leaving a cent-trail at work to find the financial glitch and also leaving a cent-trail so people would find their way back to church... It's been her moon mission.

The realizations the writer has made will really change the outcome of this little tale. A knight needs to be noble. A knight needs to fight for his friends and protect the innocent. A knight needs to have high moral values.

The author has discovered some disconcerting truths about Deacon that really gave her pause. The author revealed in AKA Deacon her realizations about him being a person who manipulated people to gain their money.  In truth he could have been a man of high moral values but he made simple choices over time he convinced himself was no big deal. The choices snowballed to the point where the church is now in dire straights and no one knows the truth of exactly how bad it is financially. It isn't just him taking The money. To be honest, Kara and Nick are involved too. Nick is actually about to steal The bulk of the money out from the other two and The author hopes the kid the police have tracking the money can keep it all safe.

The author had gotten the monicker "money man" thinking it related to her old boyfriend. In truth it was a Codename for Deacon during the Pallas mission. Deacon was the actual money man. His mode of operation was to go after what he wanted and when he finally got it he moved on. It was just a game to him. Faith can see this happening in the back of her mind but hasn't yet admitted it to herself. She wants to trust him. She wanted to believe he was a good man. Earlier today she found that damning evidence that will eat away at her trust of him. She is not the type of person who can put her heart out there for someone who deceives.

Then there is the new realization about Hailey. Gabe was actually innocent. Sometimes Faith gets it wrong and she admits when she does. Hailey had affairs with both Nick and Deacon behind the back of their friend James. Faith can't quite understand why. Why would you do that to your friend?

The author had thought the character of Nick vindicated but she had changed his face in order to write for him better and thus changed his destiny. Now back to his original face, he is the evil schemer again and Faith is about to come very close to death, closer than she has ever come before.  It will be up to one of the men to save her. The question is... Which one will it be?
